Shares/Drafts Checking

The credit union provides a checking account with no minimum balance

required, no monthly service charge, no per check fee and provides a detailed

monthly statement. You also have a carbonless check copy for your records.

Overdraft protection is offered from your regular share savings account for

checks, electronic, and card transactions.

We also offer a $500.00 Overdraft Privilege to eligible members, so that

your checks and electronic debits will not be returned NSF. There is a

$25.00 fee each time an item is cleared that takes the account negative.

Direct deposits must go into your checking account first, but transfers can

be made to savings or loan accounts. If you sign up for online banking, you

will see all of your transactions as they are posted.

Do you have a VISA Check Card, which can be used at any store or ATM

that has the VISA logo? The transactions are deducted from your checking

account, usually within 24 hours. We update the available balance at least

3 times per day; if you need an immediate update, there is a $10 charge.
